LigoAI Chrome Extension: Feature Overview

The LigoAI Chrome extension brings LigoSocial's comment, writing and lead tools into a side panel next to LinkedIn. You can draft comments in your style, reply to everyone on your own posts, save posts and people, turn articles into LinkedIn posts and check your analytics, without switching to the web app.

Install and sign in

1. Install LigoAI from the Chrome Web Store. It works in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge on desktop. You can also find the link in the web app under Settings & Support > Install Extension.
2. Pin it: click the puzzle-piece icon in the toolbar, then the pin next to LigoAI.
3. Click the LigoAI icon to open the side panel.
4. Enter the email you use for LigoSocial and click Send Code, then enter the 6-digit code from your inbox and click Verify. There is no password.
5. If your account does not have a LinkedIn profile yet, the panel asks you to Connect your LinkedIn first.

If a panel shows a card asking you to activate your account, follow the button on the card to Billing in the web app, then come back and recheck. See the Chrome Extension Quick Fix Guide for details.

Find your way around the side panel

• Top bar: the LigoAI logo, a usage counter (click it to open Usage), a bell for Alerts (a red badge shows unread alerts) and your avatar. The avatar menu switches between Dark Mode and Light Mode and has Logout.
• Tab bar: three tabs are always there: Comments, Lists and Bulk Reply. Inactive tabs show only their icon.
• More menu: click ... at the end of the tab bar to reach everything else, grouped as:
  • Create: Write, Inspirations, Draft Posts
  • Engage: Comments, Lists, Bulk Reply, CRM
  • Insights: Analytics
  • Account: Usage, Alerts, Contact Support

Ways to start from LinkedIn

You do not always need to open the panel first. LigoAI adds these to LinkedIn:

• Engage button on posts in your feed: opens Comments with the post filled in.
• Bulk Reply button at the top of a post's own page: starts Bulk Reply.
• Right-click menu, under the LigoAI entry:
  • 💬 Generate Comments, ✨ Add to Inspirations and 💼 Save to CRM on the feed, post pages and search results
  • 🔄 Bulk Reply on a post's own page
  • 💼 Save to LiGo and ➕ Add to Feed on profile pages

A small LigoAI control on the right edge of LinkedIn pages has an Engage Buttons switch if you prefer to hide the buttons and use the right-click menu only.

Comments

Draft comments on other people's posts. Pick a comment style from the chips under Comment style (or More (n) for the rest), optionally add Custom instructions such as "no hashtags, ask a question", then click Generate Comments and copy the one you like. Manage your styles with the + My styles chip. LigoAI also adds Engage buttons to posts on X, Reddit and Facebook so you can draft comments there.

Lists

Save LinkedIn searches and people feeds and open them in one click. Use Search lists…, + Add to create a list, and the All, Searches and People Feeds filters. Each list's More options menu has Copy URL, Edit and Delete. Ready-made lists are under Pre-built lists. To build a feed of specific people, right-click their profile and choose ➕ Add to Feed.

Bulk Reply

Draft replies to every unanswered comment on your own post. Select threads, fix or add any that were missed, click Generate N Replies, then Copy Reply for each one.

Write

Turn an article, transcript or post into three LinkedIn post variants (Hook-led, Story and Actionable). Paste text under Source content, or use Generate Post from the floating LigoAI button on Medium, Substack, Reddit and YouTube. Save a variant with Save draft or Copy it.

Inspirations

Your saved posts and articles, plus writing prompts. Save with ✨ Add to Inspirations on LinkedIn or Save to Inspirations from the floating button on other sites, then click Repurpose with AI to turn one into a post.

Draft Posts

See the drafts from your web app's Publishing Hub. Click a draft to open Draft Preview, where you can switch variants, make a quick edit and copy it to paste into LinkedIn. New draft opens the Publishing Hub for bigger edits, media and scheduling.

CRM

Save people from LinkedIn as prospects with a stage, labels and notes, then search and filter them by stage. Available on plans that include the CRM; see Billing in the app.

Analytics

A quick look at how your posts perform. Choose 60d, 90d or 6m, turn Include viral posts on or off, and see Posts Analyzed, Avg Engagement, Best days to post, Optimal length and an AI Content Insight. Your recent posts are listed below. Full Analytics and Monthly Reports open the web app.

Usage, Alerts and Support

• Usage shows your plan, how much AI usage you have left this period and when it resets, with buttons to manage your plan or top up.
• Alerts is your notification inbox. Use All and Unread, Search alerts..., Mark all read, or select alerts to Mark Read or Delete.
• Contact Support opens a short form. Choose Bug Report or Feature Request, add a Subject and Description, and click Submit Ticket. We reply to your account email.

Tips

• Set up your comment styles and profile in the web app first. The extension uses them for every comment and post.
• Use Bulk Reply soon after a post of yours gets a wave of comments, while the conversation is active.
• Save anything worth coming back to in Inspirations as you scroll, then repurpose the best ones once a week.

If something is not working

• Refresh the LinkedIn tab, then close and reopen the side panel.
• If the panel shows A new Ligo extension version is available, click Update.
