LigoAI Chrome Extension Change Log
4 min readUpdated Oct 8, 2026
What has changed in the LigoAI Chrome extension, newest first. Chrome installs updates automatically; to get a new version straight away, see How to upgrade the LigoAI Chrome extension.
The early-access ("private") build that this page used to track has been merged into the regular extension. There is now one LigoAI extension on the Chrome Web Store, and this page covers it.
The current version is 2.5.0. To check yours, open chrome://extensions and look at the number next to LigoAI.
September 2026: version 2.5.0
Improvements
- A clear next step instead of an error. If your account needs activating, Comments, Bulk Reply, Analytics and Write now show a card with a button to Billing in the web app, instead of a red error box. Once your account is active, use the recheck button on the same card to unlock the panel without signing out. Usage always stays available.
Fixes
- Reaction and comment counts on your own posts stopped refreshing after a LinkedIn page change. They update again when you visit your LinkedIn activity page.
- Every store build now reports the same, correct version number.
July 2026
- People Feeds look clearer. Each feed in Lists now starts with the first person's photo, or their initial if there is no photo.
June 2026
New
- People Feeds. Right-click any LinkedIn profile and choose ➕ Add to Feed to build a feed of posts from the specific people you care about. Your feeds sit in Lists next to your saved searches.
- Redesigned side panel. Comments, Lists and Bulk Reply are always in the tab bar, and everything else (Write, Inspirations, Draft Posts, CRM, Analytics, Usage, Alerts) is under the ... menu.
- Dark mode for the whole extension. Switch with Dark Mode or Light Mode in your avatar menu.
- Contact Support inside the extension. Under ... > Account, send a Bug Report or Feature Request without leaving LinkedIn.
- New Usage view showing your plan, what you have left this period and when it resets.
- Media Library. Media you upload or pick in the extension now comes from the same Media Library as the web app, so your files are available in both.
Bulk Reply
- Select all to pick every thread in one click.
- Profile photos for the post author and each commenter.
- Comment detection now works whatever language your LinkedIn is set to.
- Fixed Bulk Reply after LinkedIn changed how post pages are built.
May 2026
- New accounts are asked to Connect your LinkedIn profile the first time they open the extension, so comments and posts are written for the right person.
- The Engage button appears more reliably on posts in your feed and in search results.
- Lists now separates pre-built lists from the ones you created.
April 2026
- 💬 Generate Comments, ✨ Add to Inspirations and 💼 Save to CRM now appear in the right-click menu on LinkedIn search results, not only in the feed.
- Bulk Reply works on post links in the newer
/posts/format. - Fixed the Engage button and the right-click menu after LinkedIn changed its page code.
March 2026
- The extension is now called LigoAI.
- Your comment styles in the extension. Choose from the same LiGo Styles and your own styles as in the web app, as chips under Comment style.
- A cleaner Comments panel with fewer, clearer controls.
- A wider side panel by default, so drafts are easier to read.
- Lists: you can paste LinkedIn search links without
https://, and the URL builder updates as you type.
December 2025
- The extension now connects to ligosocial.com.
- Redesigned CRM panel.
- Fixes for adding threads in Bulk Reply, the Inspirations count, Analytics date ranges and dark mode colours.
2025 highlights
- November 2025: dark mode, a movable Engage button, and all your Inspirations in one list.
- September 2025: Custom instructions before generating a comment (now up to 250 words), a delete confirmation for comment styles, saving people to your CRM straight from a post in the feed, and editing of conversation threads in Bulk Reply.
- September 2025, version 2.0: a rebuilt extension that introduced Bulk Reply (reply to many comments on your post at once), Write (turn an article, thread or video into three LinkedIn post variants), Inspirations, Draft Posts, Analytics and the CRM.
