What is LiGo's LinkedIn Company Page Integration?

LiGo's LinkedIn Company Page integration allows you to manage your company's LinkedIn presence using AI. This feature enables you to generate authentic company content using AI trained on your company's voice and industry, schedule and publish posts directly to your LinkedIn company page, and analyze performance with detailed company page analytics. Enhanced content generation through website integration is coming soon.

Account Requirements for Company Page Access

You Need a Separate LiGo Account for Company Pages

If you already have a LiGo account connected to your personal LinkedIn profile, you cannot use it for company page access. Each LiGo account can connect to either your personal LinkedIn profile OR a company LinkedIn page. You cannot connect both to the same account.

Why This Limitation Exists

LiGo requires separate accounts for personal and company pages because our AI learns differently for personal versus company content. Personal profiles focus on individual thought leadership, personal stories, and networking. Company pages focus on brand messaging, business content, and corporate voice. Mixing personal and company data reduces the authenticity and effectiveness of generated content.

How to Set Up LiGo for Company Pages

Step 1: Create Your Company LiGo Account

You have two options for creating your company LiGo account:

  • Option A: Keep your existing personal account

To keep your existing personal account, you need to use a different email address for your company account. We recommend using your company email address. Go to https://ligosocial.com/auth and click Sign up to register with your new email address. During the onboarding process, select Company Page as your account type.

  • Option B: Delete your existing account and start fresh

To delete your existing account and start fresh, log into your current LiGo account and go to Settings then Account. Scroll down and click Delete Account to permanently delete your current account. After deletion is complete, sign up again. During the onboarding process, select Company Page as your account type.

Step 2: Find Your LinkedIn Company Page URL

You need the PUBLIC company page URL, not the admin URL. The correct URL format looks like this: https://www.linkedin.com/company/your-company-name/

Method 1: Using Desktop Browser

Log into LinkedIn and search for your company name in the LinkedIn search bar. Click on your company from the search results. Copy the URL from your browser's address bar. The URL should look like: https://www.linkedin.com/company/your-company-name/

Method 2: Using Mobile App

Open the LinkedIn mobile app and navigate to your company page. Tap the three dots next to the Follow button. Select Share via... then Copy Link to copy the company page URL.

Step 3: Optimize Your Company Page Before Connecting

Before connecting your company page to LiGo, ensure your LinkedIn company page has the following information:

  • Complete About section with detailed company description
  • Clear company headline or tagline
  • Company logo and cover image
  • At least basic follower count (avoid brand new pages with 0 to 5 followers)
  • Some existing posts (even 2 to 3 posts help our AI understand your company better)

If theme generation fails during onboarding, this usually means your company page lacks sufficient information. Our AI needs enough context to understand what your company does and how it communicates.

Step 4: Complete LiGo Onboarding

During the onboarding process, you will be asked to provide your company page URL. Use the public URL you found in Step 2 (not the admin URL). Complete the company page setup by providing your company description, target audience, industry focus, and content themes you want to focus on.

Step 5: Confirm Your Plan

Company pages are available on all paid plans. Publishing and scheduling posts to your LinkedIn company page work on any paid plan, so no special access or separate upgrade is required beyond an active paid subscription.

You can use LiGo for content generation on any plan. To publish and schedule posts to your company page, make sure you are on a paid plan. You can review plans on the billing page.

Step 6: Connect Your Company Page

Go to Settings->Integrations. Click Connect next to LinkedIn. Select Company Page when prompted, then complete LinkedIn's authorization process. Once connected, you can start creating, scheduling, and publishing company content.

Website Integration - Coming Soon

Website integration is expected next year. This feature will allow you to connect your company website as a data source. Website integration will provide even better content generation based on your website content, more accurate company voice matching your existing marketing materials, and industry-specific insights from your product and service pages. This will make LiGo's company content generation even more powerful and authentic to your brand.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I use my existing LiGo account for company pages?

No, if your existing account is connected to a personal LinkedIn profile, you need to create a new account for company page access. Each LiGo account can only connect to one LinkedIn entity (either a personal profile or a company page, not both).

Q: What if I do not want to create a new email account?

You can delete your existing LiGo account and re-register with the same email address. When you re-register, select Company Page during the onboarding process. This allows you to use your existing email address for a company account.

Q: Do I need a paid plan just to generate company content?

No, you can generate company content ideas and drafts on any plan. Publishing and scheduling posts to your LinkedIn company page are available on any paid plan.

Q: Can I connect multiple company pages to one account?

Currently, each LiGo account supports one LinkedIn connection. This means you can connect either one personal profile or one company page per account. Multiple company pages are not supported at this time.

Q: My theme generation failed during onboarding. What should I do?

Theme generation usually fails when your company page lacks sufficient information. To fix this, update your LinkedIn company page with a detailed About section, clear headline, some existing posts (at least 2 to 3), company logo, and basic company information. After updating your company page, try the onboarding process again.
