Prospects (CRM)
The CRM tab in the LigoAI Chrome extension is a small prospect list that lives next to your LinkedIn feed. You save people while you browse, give them a stage, labels and notes, and open their profile again in one click. Everything you save also appears in the web app's Prospect Manager.
The CRM is available on plans that include it; see Billing in the app. If your plan does not include it, the CRM tab shows a message instead of your list.
Open the CRM tab
- Click the LigoAI icon in your browser toolbar to open the side panel.
- Click the ... (More) button at the end of the tab bar.
- Under Engage, click CRM.
The tab also opens by itself when you save someone from LinkedIn (see below).
Save a prospect from LinkedIn
You can save a person from their profile or from one of their posts. You do not need to visit their profile first.
From a profile
- Open the person's LinkedIn profile.
- Right-click anywhere on the page, open the LigoAI entry in the menu and choose 💼 Save to LiGo.
From a post
- On your feed, a post page or LinkedIn search results, right-click the person's post.
- Open the LigoAI entry and choose 💼 Save to CRM.
The side panel opens on the CRM tab with an Add Prospect form. LigoAI fills in what it can read from LinkedIn: name, headline, company, location and profile photo. When you save from a post, the first part of the post is added to Notes so you remember why you saved them.
- Check and complete the fields:
- **Name *** (required)
- Job Title, Company, Email, Location
- Stage: Lead (default), Prospect, Qualified, Opportunity or Customer
- Labels: type in Add label... and press Enter. Labels you used before are suggested.
- Notes
- Click Save. You will see Prospect added.
Saving a prospect does not notify the person on LinkedIn. LigoAI only reads what you can already see on the page.
Find and filter prospects
At the top of the CRM tab you have:
- Search prospects… to find someone by name, job title or company.
- + Add to create a prospect by hand, using the same Add Prospect form.
- Stage tabs: All, Lead, Prospect, Qualified, Opportunity and Customer.
Each row shows the person's photo, name, job title and company, and their stage. The tab shows your first 20 prospects. If you have more, click Open Full CRM (
Update or delete a prospect
- Click a prospect's row to open the detail view.
- Click Edit, change any field (for example add an email or move them to Qualified), then click Save. Click Cancel to discard changes.
- Click View LinkedIn to open their profile in a new tab.
- To remove them, click Delete and confirm.
Changes show up in the web app's Prospect Manager too.
Use the full CRM in the web app
For bulk work, open the Prospect Manager at https://app.ligosocial.com/basic-crm. The default Focus layout has no sidebar item for it; in the Classic layout it is ENGAGE > Leads (CRM). There you can filter by labels, choose table columns, add custom fields and export a CSV. See Saving leads from LinkedIn to the LigoSocial CRM for a walkthrough.
Good habits
- Add a label when you save, for example "Q4 outreach" or "Partner". Labels make filtering and exporting much faster.
- Write one line in Notes about why you saved the person.
- Set the stage at save time and move people forward as conversations progress.
- Add an email when you have it, so the record is ready for outreach.
Troubleshooting
I don't see Save to LiGo or Save to CRM when I right-click. Refresh the LinkedIn tab and make sure you are signed in to the extension. 💼 Save to LiGo only appears on profile pages (linkedin.com/in/...). 💼 Save to CRM appears on the feed, post pages and search results. It is hidden on the page of your own post.
The form opened but the name is missing. Right-click directly on the post or the profile header and try again. You can also type the details yourself and click Save.
A prospect I just saved is not in the list. Close the CRM tab and open it again; it reloads each time. Make sure the extension and the web app are signed in with the same email.
The CRM tab shows a plan message. Your current plan does not include the CRM. Open Billing in the web app to see which plans include it.
